agustina luna bonaventura was born in buenos aires, argentina and relocated to the united states at the age of ten. her work plays with the oftentimes grotesque and magical superficiality of beauty (a word here flexibly defined) to explore identity and circumstance through lenses of duplicity, severance, subtle repetition, and admittedly hazy, nostalgic self-reflection.

she is a recent graduate of the university of florida where she studied english/film & media studies and studio art.

agustina has proudly served as coordinator of CINExperimental for the gainesville latino film festival (GLFF) and as assistant coordinator of the florida experimental film/video festival (FLEX fest).

she is also founder and editor of the spectrum zine, a collaborative, multi-platform project featuring the work of female and gender-nonconforming makers, doers, and thinkers in an effort to put skill and talent, rather than gender, at the forefront of creation, passion, and recognition.

agustina currently works as a video producer/editor in miami, and is open for commissions.
